A Greek artisan bakery has opened up in the heart of Manhattan’s chic Soho area, bringing with it a sleek design and delicious flavours that are authentic, fresh and hard to resist.
Pi Bakerie is the creation of Brooklyn-born Regina Katopidis, who was also co-owner of Astoria’s famous Artopolis, which has been the go-to Greek bakery for all New Yorker’s over the last decade.
The house-made sweets and savouries include cheese pie, spinach pie, pastitsio, moussaka, bougatsa, diples, melomakarona, and mini chocolate baklava. If you are looking for a lighter option, you can try a traditional Greek salad or a selection of premium Greek yoghurt with a variety of toppings to pick from.
Pi Bakerie has hints of the Mediterranean everywhere you look- from copper trays being turned into tabletops to olive oil bottles, Loumidis coffee and Greek honey adorning the shelves.
We strive for authenticity and we believe that to create authentic recipes, we need authentic ingredients. Our recipes come from various areas and regions of Greece as well as southern Italy. Each region has its own culture and flavors, we fuse those flavors together with contemporary baking to bring you our heritage and our love for the Mediterranean cuisine.
Pi Bakerie welcomes you to its world of unique flavors.
